What is Nifty? 

Nifty is a (Stock Index). In simple words, Nifty is a benchmark of the top 50 shares listed in the National Stock Exchange and that is why it is so important.

Nifty was started in the year 1994, while its base year is November 1995 a year later, and the base value is 1000.
