World Mental Health Day 2022

World Mental Health Day is celebrated on 10 October all over the world.

On the day of World Mental Health, people are made health conscious.

The theme of World Mental Health Day around the world is "Psychological First Aid".

The “National Mental Health Policy” was announced in India on 10 September 2014.

According to the World Health Organization, there are an estimated 450 million persons suffering from mental disorders and diseases.

The Government of India started the National Mental Health Program in the year 1982 with the objective of considering the increasing burden of mental illness in the country.

Mental illness affects the way a person feels, thinks and acts.

“Mental Health Care Act 2017” was brought to strengthen mental services in the world.

More than 5 lakh mental hospitals and institutions have been opened all over the world to cure any disease related to mental health.

With the help of World Mental Health Day, about crores of people have cured their mental health.
